Art Submission Form

We are so excited to have you be a part of the Conjure the Chaos Art Contest! We have about 230 cards, so your art could likely be on one of them. Please fill out the PDF permission slip below. Then upload the signed Permission Slip and a high-resolution photo of your artwork in landscape orientation in the form on this page. The contest is ending soon, so submissions must be received as soon as possible.

How it works:

Creator, David Nemeroff, is inviting artists to submit original illustrations inspired by the world of “Conjure the Chaos.” Selected winners will receive a copy of their work printed on a playable card—complete with their signature and credit—introducing their first official piece of published

art to the world.

Anyone can submit one or more pieces of artwork with the following themes:

1) Wizards, mystics and/or sorcerers   2) Vampires   3) Dwarves

4) Shaman   5) Magical spells or effects like "Mirror Smash," or "Arcane Overload"

-The finished art should be full-color, horizontal orientation, with background elements (no blank backgrounds please) and the

size being either 8"x10" or 8.5"x11" (no AI art)

Please format the art file name to be your name  the school name and his/her grade if applicable. If your art is chosen for the game, we will reach out to you and let you know. If you are not chosen, we will delete the photo of your art.  Below you can see the details and specifications, a copy of the permission slip and a card list so you can see what to style the art after. If you have any questions, you can reach us at aikidomasters2454@gmail.com

- Upload high resolution photos of all the submissions and then once winners are chosen, we will request their original piece(s) be sent.

- Again, we will need a permission slip (found below) signed by each participant and their parent. Once all artwork is reviewed, we will notify the winners and then request the original artwork be mailed to us.

- Understand that by submitting artwork on this page, you are agreeing to give us full rights and ownership to the art. You agree that we can use that art for the purposes of the game "Conjure the Chaos" and marketing, promotion and/or merchandising of the game.  You understand and agree that there is no compensation for the use of your art of any kind, other than recognition and having your art featured in our game.  Any art submission is completely voluntary.

-  An Important Update on Our Art Direction

Transparency matters to us, especially because Conjure the Chaos was built around creativity and supporting artists.

During development, we recently reviewed some early artwork used in the project and discovered that parts of our original art pipeline did not fully align with the long-term standards we want to hold ourselves to.

Rather than ignore that, we made a clear decision: we are adjusting our art direction moving forward to ensure the game is built in a way we can stand behind ethically and creatively.

What this means:

  • The core gameplay, mechanics, and production plan remain unchanged

  • We are prioritizing artist-led, human-created artwork for all future releases and expansions

  • Key featured pieces (box art, promo cards, faction leaders) will reflect this updated direction

Conjure the Chaos is a growing project. Like many indie games, it will evolve — and this change strengthens it long-term.

We appreciate everyone who supports indie creators and values transparency. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
